Wildflowers are able to grow in the toughest of places

Welcome to your safe space, a place for you to spread your roots and grow despite life’s adversities. Wildflowers are the hardiest and most resilient of the flora. They arrive to the world in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Each beautiful in their own right. Wildflowers also grow best when the soil or area is disrupted, such as through fire. A controlled burn helps to rejuvenate the wildflower, providing nutrients to the soil and clearing away unnecessary debris. The different wildflowers live in community with other wildflowers and fauna. These plants cultivate a supportive environment, shedding nutrients and absorbing nutrients in a delicate balance, not offering too much or too little. Wildflowers build their own ecosystem.

I often believe the therapy process is similar to the growth of wildflowers. Growth is not a linear process. Sometimes we need to set fire to our old ways of thinking, old roles, and old defenses that no longer serve us. We do this in order to grow the Self to our full potential. Like the wildflower, we also need the support of others to create our own balanced ecosystem. Through therapy, we will work together to identify your needs and strengths in a safe and nurturing environment. Like the wildflower, you will build the confidence and strength to root (find stability) and bloom (letting your Self shine).
